Colic surgery compensation
PLUS Care also compensates for the costs of colic surgery, including hospitalisation of the horse up to a maximum of €2.500 per insurance year, regardless of insured value.

BRONZE Care also compensates costs for examination/treatment by any veterinarian in the Netherlands, Belgium and/or Germany in case of an accident or illness. This insurance covers the costs for both first-line and second-line care.
BRONZE Care has a €150 personal contribution per insurance year and a 25% deductible on reimbursable costs.
Preventive treatments and regular maintenance are excluded from coverage. The difference between orthopaedic shoes and regular shoes (strictly on the advice of the specialised veterinarian) is covered no more than twice per insurance year.
The compensation never exceeds 100% of the insured value of your horse, with a maximum of €5.000 per insurance year.

In addition, GOLD Care compensates:
Physiotherapy: No more than 12 treatment per insurance year with a maximum of €600 and only when treated by a licensed animal physiotherapist;
Homeopathy: Exclusively homeopathic means used by a veterinarian;
Acupuncture / acupressure: Only when used by a specialised licensed veterinarian;
Rehabilitation / hydrotherapy treatment: No more than 1 month with a maximum of €700 per insurance year and only when treated by a veterinarian.
